ABOUT ME
Prof. Goksenin Inalhan works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University (ITU). She has a PhD from Reading University, Urban Studies, Construction Management in England. During her education in England, she worked as an assistant in MSc in Inclusive Environments: Design and Management at Reading University. She has a role as an academic advisor for the ITU Disability Support Office where they provide students with special needs due to certain disabilities (temporary and permanent) equal access to university resources and services and create an environment that supports their development.She conducts research in the fields of environmental psychology, accessibility, inclusive design and well-being, environmental design for the elderly and disabled, changing workplace, post-occupational assessment. Her work has been published in leading journals in environmental psychology, workplace and facility management. She is a founding member of the NGO “Senex”_Association for Aging Studies.
